This article is designed to show you where to update basic DNS settings for any of the domains you have registered through Hard Shell Hosting. DNS Management takes place in the Client Area of Hard Shell Hosting.
To begin, go to www.hardshellhosting.com and click login in the upper right corner of the screen. Use your email address and password to sign into your Client Area account. Across the top, click "My Domains" and then access DNS management for a particular domain by clicking the icon found to the right of the price for that domain.
Once you have accessed the DNS management area for your chosen domain, you can:
- view domain information
- disable autorenewal
- change the nameservers
- alter registration locking status
- renew your domain
- change the WHOIS contact information for that domain
- get your epp code which is needed for domain transfer to another registrar
