Managing Contacts in the Client Area Print

This tutorial will now teach you how to add and manage additional contacts in the client area. Having additional contacts allows you to assign other people subaccounts which they may then use to login to your client area and/or receive various notification emails from Hard Shell Hosting without you having to share your personal login information with them. This tutorial will assume that you are already logged into the client area of Hard Shell Hosting. If you are having problems doing that, or don't know how, please view the tutorial named "How to Login to the Client Area".

Along the top is the client area menu. Click on the link called My Details and then on the Add New Contact link. This will take you to the add new contact page where you can fill in the personal details for the new contact. Check the box to make this a subaccount if you would like this person to be able to access your client area and manage things within your account. Do not check this box if they should only receive notification emails or should not have access to and/or the ability to make changes to all of your client account information including your private details. Once you have filled in all the information needed, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the Save Changes button.

Likewise you can manage contacts you have created by logging into the client area and clicking on the My Details link and then the Manage Contacts link towards the top of the page. This link will take you to a page where you can manage all of the contact you have previously created.
